Hours of Operation
 Open Year Round, the unique Vulcan Tourism & Trek Station is designed to look like a landing spacecraft.
As you enter the building, the stars and nebula of the "Trek Station's" floor to ceiling space murals will have you feeling that you have stepped into outerspace.
You will be greeted by the Trek Station's Captain and friendly crew members who are on hand to answer all of your questions about Vulcan's fictious association with Star Trek's Mr. Spock.

In addition to carrying tourist information about Vulcan County, and the rest of Alberta, the Trek Station is also home to a number of unique science fiction and Star Trek inspired attractions:
 SAVE THE GALAXY in the Vulcan Space Adventure Virtual Reality Game
You bring the camera, we supply the costumes! Life-sized Star Trek character cutouts are waiting to pose with you on the main bridge of our Star Ship.
Admire the 800+ piece collection of Star Trek memorabilia, donated to the Town of Vulcan by the family of Albert Cave - a long time Star Trek fan and Vulcan enthusiast.

Admire the Gene Roddenberry Memorial Plaque, unveiled by the Star Trek Creator's son, Eugene "Rod" Roddenberry Jr. in June 2008.

 Being an accredited Visitor Information Centre, our professional travel counselors (aka crew members) can also help you plan your holiday in southern Alberta and the Canadian Badlands.

(*Even our restrooms are decorated with space murals; and yes, people do take souvenir photos of our restrooms.)

Fall Hours: [Labour Day weekend to October 31 weekend]
-Monday - Friday 9AM to 5PM
-Saturday & Sunday 11AM to 5PM
Winter Hours: [November 1 to May 16]
- Monday to Friday 9AM to 5PM
- Saturday 11 AM to 5PM
- Sunday - Closed
*Note: due to winter staffing, there might be some dates throughout the winter months when the Trek Station has to close due to out of town meetings and conventions. If you are planning a winter trip to the Vulcan Tourism & Trek Station, please call ahead of time to make sure we can be open for you.
